I see clients of all ages and use a variety of counseling theories and techniques to help people understand and cope with the issues holding them back from true happiness and success. To help my clients feel their best and achieve their dreams and goals, I start by simply listening. I firmly believe that people begin to heal the moment they are truly heard.

Each client's story is unique and important, so it makes sense that your therapy be individualized to your needs. Based on your experiences, we will select the types of therapy and techniques we will use in counseling. This approach is called person-centered or client-centered. I  use evidence-based theories such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, and I incorporate EMDR, EFT tapping, mindfulness techniques, and art, music and play therapy as appropriate. 

My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, grief, chronic pain and illness, and autism spectrum, ADHD, and LGBTQIA+ issues.
